December 4, Chapel Hill, NC. 6 p.m.. Louise Omoto Kessel tells stories for Estes Hills Elementary Family Fun Night and Book Fair!
December 12, Pittsboro, NC. 10 a.m.. Louise Omoto Kessel leads a toy making workshop at Pittsboro Toys. Free! I'll be at the store, from 10 to 11:30, to help parents and children make sock puppets! Bring a favorite unmatched sock if you'd like! (We'll have plenty of socks to share if you don't have one.) With bells, buttons, felt, fabric, yarn, raffia, spangles, wool, and more, we'll make ordinary socks into extraordinary characters that talk, sing, and shout; dance, swim and bow. All ages welcome.
